Positions are routinely available at several levels. Entry-level technician positions in production sequencing require no more than a desire to excel. More advanced research assistant positions require a four-year degree in the biological sciences, chemistry or computer science. Academic staff positions require an M.S. or Ph.D. degree and knowledge and expertise in genomics, molecular biology and/or bioinformatics.
