Solobacterium moorei F0204 (NCBI Accession number for 16S rRNA gene: AB031058 is a member of the Firmicutes division of the domain bacteria and has
been isolated from the oral cavity. Bacteria provided by Floyd E.
Dewhirst, DDS, PhD and Jacques Izard,
PhD of The Forsyth Institute. Funded by NIDCR. The original isolate was
from the collection of Dr. L. V. Holdeman Moore and the late Dr. W.E.
Moore formerly at the Anaerobe Laboratory at The Virginia Polytechnic
Institute.
