Slackia exigua ATCC 700122 (GenBank Accession Number for 16S rDNA gene: NR_024952) is a member of the Actinobacteria division of the domain bacteria and has been isolated from the necrotic pulps of human deciduous teeth. The sequenced strain was obtained from Floyd E. Dewhirst and Jacques Izard - HOMD Sequence ID: SEQF1599.
