Oribacterium sp. oral taxon 078 F0262 (GenBank Accession Number for 16S rDNA gene: AF287771) is a member of the Firmicutes division of the domain bacteria and has been isolated from subgingival plaque. The sequenced strain was obtained from Floyd E. Dewhirst and Jacques Izard - HOMD Sequence ID SEQF1603.
