Oral Cavity Isolate

Jonquetella anthropi (GenBank Accession Number for 16S rDNA gene: AF481216) is a member of the Synergistetes division of the domain bacteria and has been isolated from an endodontic infection. The sequenced strain, E3_33 E1, was obtained from Floyd E. Dewhirst and Jacques Izard - HOMD Sequence taxon description.
