Oral Cavity Isolate

Fusobacterium periodonticum (GenBank Accession Number for 16S rDNA gene: X55405) is a member of the Fusobacteria division of the domain bacteria and has been isolated from the oral cavity. The sequenced strain, ATCC# 33693, was obtained from Sue Haake, UCLA.
