Gut Isolate

Desulfitobacterium hafniense (GenBank Accession Number: DQ834671) is a member of the division Proteobacteria of the domain bacteria and has been isolated from human feces. The sequenced strain was obtained from the Deutsche Sammlung von Mikroorganismen und Zellkulturen GmbH (DSMZ) (DSM# 13498). This is from the HGMI project.
