Whole Genome Re-sequencing Group

The Whole Genome Re-sequencing Group focuses on developing and optimizing sample intake, production sequencing, and sequence analysis pipelines for human disease genomic research, with a major emphasis on cancer. We have developed a robust and integrated whole genome sequencing pipeline that includes state-of-the-art technologies and software tools. We are constantly improving and augmenting these pipelines with sequencing advancements and new algorithms for mutation detection, data integration and analysis. These efforts will lead to accurate identification of significant molecular changes in cancer and reveal their intrinsic interactions, as well as their associations with different clinical features and subtypes. These data will contribute to the formulation of a reference platform for the identification of prominent drug candidates and diagnostic and prognostic markers.
